January 2010:
We are glad to announce that as of 07-01-2010 the parishes of Ostend and Bruges have been officially merged into a Cross-Border parish by the Ministry of Internal affaires of West Flandres. The parish of Ostend has been charged with the responsibility for the administrative management and supervision while Reverend Dr. Clifford Owen continues his pastoral care for both parishes.
Plaque Memorial Unveiling Service for HMS Hayward Wyke.
A service of remembrance will be held at the English Church in Ostend on Sunday 26 July 2009 to commemorate:

She was torpedoed by a German midget submarine of the class Seehund on the night of January 1945, 5 NM off the coast of Ostend-Belgium. Twenty two of the crew perished.
Wedding Bells
On Saturday 4th of July our Church in Ostend will celebrate a marriage once again. The couple are Timothy and Katja. Some of you might know Timothy as one of the Standard-Bearers from the Royal British Legion. The service will be conducted by Rev. Canon Ray Jones.
Appointment of new Vicar for our Parishes
November 16th 2008:
We welcomed Rev. Dr. Clifford Owen as our new priest for the combined parish Ostend-Bruges and hope that he will enjoy his time with us. He will be serving our parishes for the next five years together with his wife Avis who herself enjoys playing the organ.
