The Anglican Churches in Oostende and Brugge are a main part of the Church of England. We are part of the Province of Canterbury under Archbishop Rowan Williams. Our Diocese is the Diocese in Europe (note 'in' not 'of'). Our Bishop is Revd. Dr. Geoffrey Rowell. We are in the North-West Archdeaconry, which covers Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.
Since 1865 the present Anglican Church in Ostend provides for a place of worship, praise and spiritual care for the local and wider area and visitors alike.
Since 1984 the English Community in Bruges shares the Chapel 't Keerske (former St. Peter's Chapel) with the United Protestants of Bruges. Our Church is also linked to the website of the Protestant Community in Bruges.

Apart from the regular Sunday Services, we offer all the pastoral services which you would expect to find in a mormal Church of England parish. These can include courses, groups, pastoral visits and home communions. The Priest-in-charge is ready to do hospital visits when notified of anyone sick. This is normally conducted in English but people of any nationality are welcome to request visits. We also welcome being informed of sick friends. Similarly house visits are welcome, but it would be appreciated if in arranging a home visit to a friend their permission is sought first.
We aim to draw people into a loving relationship with Christ, a relationship which is God's offer to all people.
We committ ourselves to welcome visitors from all walks of life. Through the year we are involved in many activities such as the Week of Christian prayer in January and the World Day of Prayer in March as well as welcoming members of the British Legion and the Brigade Piron for their Commemoration services.
All information about weddings, baptisms, special services or personal matters should be addressed to the Priest-in-Charge.
